What is the life of this world but amusement and play? but verily the Home in the Hereafter,- that is life indeed, if they but knew. 64 And so, when they embark on a ship [and find themselves in danger,] they call unto God, [at that moment] sincere in their faith in Him alone; but as soon as He has brought them safe ashore, they [begin to] ascribe to imaginary powers a share in His divinity: 65 that they may be ungrateful for the rescue that We granted them, and that they may revel in the pleasures (of the present life). Soon they shall come to know. 66 Do they not see how We appointed a safe Sanctuary while all around them people are snatched away? Would they believe in falsehood and do they disbelieve in the favor of Allah! 67 Who is more unjust than he who fabricates a lie about God, or denies the truth when it has come to him? Is there not an abode for unbelievers in Hell? 68 We shall certainly guide those who strive for Our cause to Our path. God is certainly with the righteous ones. 69
