Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
AlifLaamMeem. 1 These are the verses of the Book of wisdom, 2 As guidance and mercy for the doers of good 3 Those who establish the prayer and give the poor-rate and of the Hereafter are convinced. 4 They are on guidance from their Lord, and will prosper. 5 There are some people who would purchase distracting talk, to lead astray from the Path of Allah without knowledge, and take it in mockery; for those is a humiliating punishment. 6 And when Our revelations are recited unto him he turneth away in pride as if he heard them not, as if there were a deafness in his ears. So give him tidings of a painful doom. 7 Lo! those who believe and do good works, for them are the gardens of delight, 8 Wherein they abide eternally; [it is] the promise of Allah [which is] truth. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise. 9 He created the heavens without pillars that you see and has cast into the earth firmly set mountains, lest it should shift with you, and dispersed therein from every creature. And We sent down rain from the sky and made grow therein [plants] of every noble kind. 10 This is the creation of Allah. So show Me that which those (whom you worship), besides Him have created. Nay, the Zalimun (polytheists, wrong-doers and those who do not believe in the Oneness of Allah) are in plain error. 11
