▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I swear by the setting of the stars 75 And lo! that verily is a tremendous oath, if ye but knew - 76 that this is indeed a noble Quran, 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 none but the purified shall touch, 79 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 How can you regard this discourse with disdain? 81 and make it your daily bread [as it were] to call the truth a lie? 82 Why, then, when (the soul) cometh up to the throat (of the dying) 83 And you wait for the moment (of death), 84 - And We are nearer unto him than ye are, but ye see not - 85 Then why is it not-- if you are not held under authority-- 86 do you not bring back his soul, if you speak truly? 87 Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, 88 For him shall be comfort, and fragrance and a Garden of Delight. 89 And if he is one of the People on the Right, 90 Then there is safety and peace (from the Punishment of Allah) for (you as you are from) those on the Right Hand. 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 he will be welcomed with boiling water. 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 Verily, this is indeed the truth of truths! 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Supreme. 96
God the Almighty always says the truth.
