Prostration (Al-Sajdah)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
ALIF LAM MIM. 1 The revelation of this Book free of doubt and involution is from the Lord of all the worlds. 2 Or do they say, 'He has forged it'? Say: 'Not so; it is the truth from thy Lord that thou mayest warn a people to whom no warner came before thee, that haply so they may be guided. 3 It is Allah Who created the heavens and the earth and all that is between the two, in six days, and then He established Himself on the Throne. You have no guardian or intercessor other than He. Will you, then, not take heed? 4 He directeth the ordinance from the heaven unto the earth; then it ascendeth unto Him in a Day, whereof the measure is a thousand years of that ye reckon. 5 That is He, the All-Knower of the unseen and the seen, the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 6 who gave everything its perfect form. He originated the creation of man from clay, 7 He made His offspring come into existence from an extract of insignificant fluid, 8 Then He fashioned him and breathed into him something of a spirit from Him; and He ordained for you hearing and sight and hearts. Little is the thanks ye return. 9 And they said, “When we have mingled into the earth, will we be created again?”; in fact they disbelieve in the meeting with their Lord. 10 ۞ Say: "The angel of death, who is set over you, will take your souls, then you shall be brought to your Lord." 11
