AND, INDEED, [O Muhammad,] We did vouchsafe revelation unto Moses [as well]: so be not in doubt of [thy] having met with the same [truth in the revelation vouchsafed to thee]. And [just as] We caused that [earlier revelation] to be a guidance for the children of Israel, 23 And when they became steadfast and believed firmly in Our revelations, We appointed from among them leaders who guided by Our command. 24 Surely your Lord will judge among them on the Day of Resurrection concerning the matters about which the Children of Israel used to differ. 25 Did they not find guidance in the many generations We had destroyed before them, over whose dwellings they (now) walk? There were indeed signs in this. Will they even then not listen? 26 Have they not seen how We drive the water to the dry land and bring forth crops therewith whereof their cattle and themselves eat? What, will they not see? 27 They say: “If you are truthful, (tell us) when will the Judgement come?” 28 Say, "On the Day of Judgement it will be of no benefit to those who were bent on denying the truth, if they [then] believe! They will be granted no respite." 29 and then leave them alone, and wait [for the truth to unfold as] they, behold, are waiting. 30
