We gave Moses the Scripture, so [Muhammad] do not doubt that you are receiving it, just as We made it a guide for the Children of Israel. 23 And We appointed, from amongst them, leaders guiding others by Our command, when they had persevered, and of Our signs they were convinced. 24 Surely your Lord will judge among them on the Day of Resurrection concerning the matters about which the Children of Israel used to differ. 25 Does it not guide them [to see] how many generations We destroyed before them, among whose ruined dwellings they now walk about? There truly are signs in this -- will they not listen? 26 Have they not seen how We drive the water to the dry land and bring forth crops therewith whereof their cattle and themselves eat? What, will they not see? 27 And they say, “When will this decision take place, if you are truthful?” 28 Say thou: on the day of the Decision their belief will not profit those who have disbelieved; nor will they be respited. 29 and then leave them alone, and wait [for the truth to unfold as] they, behold, are waiting. 30
