O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and wives of the believers that they should draw over themselves some of their outer garments [when in public], so as to be recognized and not harmed. God is most forgiving and most merciful. 59 ۞ If the hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease, and the rumour mongers in Medinah do not desist, We shall then surely impel you against them, so then they will not remain your neighbours in Medinah except for a few days. 60 cursed they shalt be, and wheresoever they are come upon they shall be seized and slaughtered all -- 61 [This is] the established way of Allah with those who passed on before; and you will not find in the way of Allah any change. 62 Men ask thee concerning the Hour: Say, "The knowledge thereof is with Allah (alone)": and what will make thee understand?- perchance the Hour is nigh! 63 Verily, Allah has cursed the disbelievers, and has prepared for them a flaming Fire (Hell). 64 Abiding therein forever, they will not find a protector or a helper. 65 The day their faces would be turned on the fire (as on a spit), they will say: "Alas! If only we had obeyed God, and obeyed the Prophet." 66 And they shall say: 'Our Lord, We obeyed our masters and our eminent ones, but they misled us from the way. 67 Our Lord, give them chastisement twofold, and curse them with a mighty curse!' 68
