Call upon those whom you set up beside God! They possess not an atom's weight either in the heavens or on the earth, nor have they any share in either, nor has He any helpers among them. 22 And before Him, intercession can be of no avail [to any] save one in whose case He may have granted leave [there for]: so much so that when the terror [of the Last Hour] is lifted from their hearts, they [who have been resurrected] will ask [one another,] "What has your Sustainer decreed [for you]?" - [to which] the others will answer, "Whatever is true and deserved - for He alone is exalted, great!" 23 ۞ Say: "Who gives you food from the heavens and the earth?" Say: "God. Surely either you or we are on guidance, or are lost in clear error." 24 Say: 'You will not be questioned concerning our sins, neither shall we be questioned as to what you do.' 25 Say, “Our Lord will bring us all together, and then judge truthfully between us; and He is the Best Judge, the All Knowing.” 26 Say thou: show me those whom ye have joined with Him as associates. By no means! Aye! He is Allah, the Mighty, the Wise. 27 And O dear Prophet, We have not sent you except with a Prophethood that covers the entire mankind, heralding glad tidings and warnings, but most people do not know. (Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – is the Prophet towards all mankind.) 28 and so they ask, "When is this promise [of resurrection and judgment] to be fulfilled? [Answer this, O you who believe in it,] if you are men of truth!" 29 Say: “Your day is appointed, you can neither hold back its coming by an hour, nor hasten it by an hour.” 30
