۞ Say thou: I but exhort you unto one thing: that ye stand, for Allah's sake, by twos and singly, and then ponder; in your companion there is no madness; he is naught but a warner unto you preceding a torment severe. 46 Say, “Whatever fee I might have asked from you upon this, is yours; my reward is only upon Allah; and He is Witness over all things.” 47 Say: "Verily, my Sustainer hurls the truth [against all that is false] He who fully knows all the things that are beyond the reach of a created being's perception!" 48 Say: The Truth hath come, and falsehood showeth not its face and will not return. 49 Say: “If I go astray then the hurt of straying will come only upon me. But if I am rightly-guided, that is only because of the revelation that my Lord makes to me. He is All-Hearing, Ever Nigh.” 50 Couldst thou but see when they are terrified with no escape, and are seized from near at hand, 51 And they shall say: We believe in it. And how shall the attaining (of faith) be possible to them from a distant place? 52 When they disbelieved in it of yore. They aim at the unseen from afar off. 53 And a barrier is set between them and what they desire*, as was done for their earlier groups; indeed they are in a doubt that deceives.
