۞ O ye men! It is ye that have need of Allah: but Allah is the One Free of all wants, worthy of all praise. 15 He could replace you by a new creation if He decided to. 16 That is not a hard thing for Allah. 17 AND NO BEARER of burdens shall be made to bear another's burden; and if one weighed down by his load calls upon [another] to help him carry it, nothing thereof may be carried [by that other,] even if it be one's near of kin. Hence, thou canst [truly] warn only those who stand in awe of their Sustainer although He is beyond the reach of their perception, and are constant in prayer, and [know that] whoever grows in purity, attains to purity but for the good of his own self, and [that] with God is all journeys' end. 18 And the blind and the seeing are not alike 19 Nor the darkness and the light, 20 nor shade and heat 21 And not equal are the living and the dead! Indeed Allah causes them to listen*, whomever He wills; and you cannot make those who are in the graves** listen. (* Listen to guidance **The disbelievers are referred to as dead, whose fates are sealed.) 22 Thou art no other than a warner. 23 We have sent you with the truth, a bearer of glad tidings and warning, for there is no nation, that has not had a warner pass away in it. 24 And if they belie thee, then surely those before them have also belied. Their apostles came unto them with evidences and scriptures and a Book luminous. 25 Then did I punish those who disbelieved, so how was the manifestation of My disapproval? 26
