THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 guided them to the right path, 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
