Y S (Yaa Seen)
83 verses, revealed in Mecca after Jinns (Al-Jinn) before The Statute Book (Al-Furqaan)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Ya Seen. 1 By the wise Qur'an. 2 Verily thou art of the sent ones, 3 On a straight path, 4 [This is] a revelation of the Exalted in Might, the Merciful, 5 So that you may warn these people whose ancestors were not warned, they are therefore unaware. 6 Indeed the Word (of punishment) has proved true against most of them, so they will not believe. 7 We have indeed put shackles around their necks reaching up to the chins, so they remain facing upwards. 8 And We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier and covered them, so they do not see. 9 It is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them for they shall not believe. 10 You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and noble reward. 11 It is We who bring the dead to life and records the deeds of human beings and their consequences (of continual effects). We keep everything recorded in an illustrious Book. 12
