Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
I swear by Ya Sin 1 I swear by the Quran full of wisdom 2 You (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) are indeed one of the Noble Messengers. 3 on a Straight Way, 4 A revelation from the mighty, ever-merciful (God), 5 that thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were never warned, so they are heedless. 6 Already hath the judgment, (for their infidelity) proved true of most of them, for they believe not. 7 We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that they cannot bow their heads 8 And We have made before them a barrier and a barrier behind them, then We have covered them over so that they do not see. 9 It makes no difference to them whether you warn them or do not warn them: they will not believe. 10 Thou warnest only him who followeth the Reminder and feareth the Beneficent in secret. To him bear tidings of forgiveness and a rich reward. 11 Verily, We give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before (them), and their traces [their footsteps and walking on the earth with their legs to the mosques for the five compulsory congregational prayers, Jihad (holy fighting in Allah's Cause) and all other good and evil they did, and that which they leave behind], and all things We have recorded with numbers (as a record) in a Clear Book. 12
