Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
I swear by Ya Sin 1 By the wise Qur'an, 2 You (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) are indeed one of the Noble Messengers. 3 On a path that is straight, -- 4 The sending down of the Mighty, the Most Merciful 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, and so were heedless. 6 The sentence is surely justified against most of them, for they do not believe. 7 Behold, around their necks We have put shackles, reaching up to their chins, so that their heads are forced up; 8 And We have put a bar in front of them and a bar behind them, and further, We have covered them up; so that they cannot see. 9 thus, it is all one to them whether thou warnest them or dost not warn them: they will not believe. 10 Thou canst warn only him who followeth the admonition and feareth the Compassionate, unseen. So bear thou unto him the glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous hire. 11 Surely it is We who bring the dead to life and write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind; everything We have numbered in a clear register. 12
