Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
O THOU human being! 1 By the Wise Qur'an, 2 You (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) are indeed one of the Noble Messengers. 3 On the Straight Path. 4 (The Qur’an is) Sent down by the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 5 That you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 The Word is proved true against the greater part of them: for they do not believe. 7 Lo! We have put on their necks carcans reaching unto the chins, so that they are made stiff-necked. 8 And We have made before them a barrier and a barrier behind them, then We have covered them over so that they do not see. 9 Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not, it is alike for them, for they believe not. 10 You can only warn him who listens to the warning and fears Ar-Rahman secretly. So give him good news of forgiveness and a generous reward. 11 Verily, We shall indeed bring the dead back to life; and We shall record whatever [deeds] they have sent ahead, and the traces [of good and evil] which they have left behind: for of all things do We take account in a record clear. 12
