The trumpet will be blown and, at once, they will rise up from their graves, and hasten to their Lord. 51 "Woe betide us!" they will say, "Who has roused us from our sleep?" This is what the Lord of Mercy promised: the messengers spoke the truth! 52 Nothing will there have been but one single blast - and lo! before Us will all of them be arraigned [and be told]: 53 Today no one shall suffer the least injustice, and you shall not be recompensed except according to your deeds. 54 Verily, the dwellers of the Paradise, that Day, will be busy in joyful things. 55 They and their spouses, in shade on couches shall be reclining. 56 For them therein is fruit, and for them is whatever they request [or wish] 57 The word from a Merciful Lord (for them) is: Peace! 58 [And God will say], "Separate yourselves from the righteous this Day, you criminals. 59 ۞ Children of Adam, did We not command you not to worship satan. He was your sworn enemy. 60 and that you should worship Me [alone]? This would have been a straight way! 61 Still, he misguided a whole throng of you. Did you have no sense? 62 "This is the Hell of which ye were (repeatedly) warned! 63 "Embrace ye the (fire) this Day, for that ye (persistently) rejected (Truth)." 64 Today We set a seal on their mouths, and their hands speak to Us, and their feet bear witness as to what they have been earning. 65 And if We listed, surely We should wipe out their eyes so that they would struggle for the way; how then would they see? 66 Did We will, We would have changed them where they were, then they could not go on, nor could they return. 67
