Whoever reaches old age, We reverse in natural disposition. Do they not have sense (to see)? 68 And We have not taught him (Muhammad) poetry, nor is it meet for him. This is naught else than a Reminder and a Lecture making plain, 69 to warn all who are truly alive, and to justify the word [God's verdict] against the deniers. 70 Do they not see that We have created for them of what Our Hands have created, the cattle, so that they are their owners. 71 And have subdued them unto them, so that some of them they have for riding, some for food? 72 And they have therefrom other benefits and drinks. Will they not then give thanks? 73 Yet they take (for worship) gods other than Allah, (hoping) that they might be helped! 74 (But) they shall not be able to assist them, and they shall be a host brought up before them. 75 So let not their speech grieve thee (O Muhammad). Lo! We know what they conceal and what proclaim. 76 Does man not consider that We created him from a [mere] sperm-drop - then at once he is a clear adversary? 77 And he strikes out a likeness for Us and forgets his own creation. Says he: Who will give life to the bones when they are rotten? 78 Say: 'He shall quicken them, who originated them the first time; He knows all creation, 79 He who produces for you fire out of the green tree, so that, lo! you kindle [your fires] therewith." 80 Is not He Who created the heavens and the earth Able to create the like of them? Aye, that He is! for He is the All-Wise Creator, 81 And His only task when He intends a thing is to command it, “Be” – and it thereupon happens! 82 Wherefore hallowed be He in whose hand is the governance of everything, and unto whom ye shall be returned. 83
