The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the rangers ranging 1 And so are strong in repelling (evil), 2 and the reciters of a Remembrance, 3 Verily your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and of the earth, and all that is between them, and Lord of every point of the sun's risings. (None has the right to be worshipped but Allah). 5 Surely We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment, the stars, 6 to protect them from the rebellious satan. 7 These satans cannot listen to what transpires in the High Council for they are pelted away from every side 8 cast out [from all grace,] with lasting suffering in store for them [in the life to come]; 9 Save him who snatcheth a fragment, and there pursueth him a piercing flame. 10 So ask them for a pronouncement -- Are they stronger in constitution, or those We created? We created them of clinging clay. 11 No, you marvel, while they scoff. 12 And when they are reminded, they remember not. 13 And when they behold a sign, they turn to scoffing. 14 and say: “This is nothing but plain sorcery. 15 Is it ever possible that after we die and are reduced to dust and (a skeleton of) bones, we will be raised to life? 16 Will our forefathers also be brought to life again?" 17 Say, "Yes indeed, and you will be brought low." 18 It will be only one shout, and at once they will be observing. 19 They will say: "Woe to us! This is the Day of Recompense!" 20 "(Yes,) this is the Day of Judgement you had called a lie." 21
