The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By those who range themselves in rows; 1 and the scarers scaring 2 And those who read (the Word) for a reminder, 3 that your Lord is the only Lord. 4 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, and the Lord of the Easts. 5 Surely We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment, the stars, 6 and guarded it against all rebellious devils: 7 so they cannot listen to the High Assembly, for they are pelted from every side. 8 driven away, and will suffer eternal punishment. 9 Except such as snatch away something by stealing and they are pursued by a flaming fire of piercing brightness. 10 So ask them, are they stronger in constitution, or those whom We have created. We have created them of sticky clay. 11 Nay, but thou dost marvel when they mock 12 and when they are reminded [of the truth,] they refuse to take it to heart; 13 And when they behold a sign, they turn to scoffing. 14 And say, "This is not but obvious magic. 15 When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected? 16 And so also shall our forefathers of yore be raised to life?” 17 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Yes, and you shall then be humiliated." 18 There will be but a single blast and then their eyes will open. 19 They will then say: “Woe for us. This is the Day of Judgement.” 20 'This is the Day of Decision, even that you cried lies to. 21

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
