The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By those who range themselves in ranks, 1 Then those who drive away with reproof, 2 and by the reciters of the Reminder: 3 Lo! thy Lord is surely One; 4 Lord of the heavens and of the earth, and all that is between them, and Lord of every point of the sun's risings. (None has the right to be worshipped but Allah). 5 We have decked the lower heavens with stars 6 and guarded it against all rebellious devils: 7 They cannot listen to the exalted assembly and they are thrown at from every side, 8 And kept far away. There is perpetual punishment for them, 9 Some of them who stealthily steal words from the heavens are pursued by a glistening flame. 10 So ask them if they are more difficult to create, or the rest We have created? Indeed (man) We created from fermented clay. 11 Truly dost thou marvel, while they ridicule, 12 When they are reminded, they do not pay heed, 13 And when they see a sign, they ridicule 14 and say: “This is nothing but plain sorcery. 15 When we have become dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then verily be raised? 16 "And also our fathers of old?" 17 Say: "Yea, indeed - and most abject will you then be!" 18 So that is just a single jolt, thereupon they will begin staring. 19 And they will say: Ah! woe be unto us! this is the Day of Requital. 20 This is the day of the judgment which you called a lie. 21
