1/2 Hizb 45

۞ Gather all the wicked together and their comrades, and those they had worshipped 22 Besides Allah, then lead them to the way to hell. 23 "But stop them, for they must be asked: 24 How is it that you are not helping one another? 25 In fact, on that day they will be submissive. 26 and advance one upon another, asking each other questions. 27 They shall say: Surely you used to come to us from the right side. 28 They will say: "No, you were the ones who would not believe. 29 we had no power over you; but you yourselves were a rebellious people. 30 The sentence of our Lord has come true for us. We have certainly to taste (the punishment), 31 we perverted you, indeed, we were perverts' 32 So verily on that Day they all in the torment will be sharers. 33 Verily We! in this wise We deal with the culprits. 34 Whenever it was said to them: “There is no true deity apart from Allah,” they waxed proud 35 And they used to say, “Shall we forsake our Gods upon the sayings of a mad poet?” 36 Nay, but he brought the Truth, and he confirmed those sent (before him). 37 you shall surely taste the painful punishment, 38 You will only be recompensed according to your deeds.” 39 But for the sincere worshipers of Allah, 40 Whose provision is predetermined -- 41 Fruits (Delights); and they (shall enjoy) honour and dignity, 42 in the Gardens of Bliss. 43 On couches, facing one another. 44 A bowl shall be made to go round them from water running out of springs, 45 Clear, delicious to drink, 46 No bad effect is there in it, nor from it will they be intoxicated. 47 And with them are those of modest gaze, with lovely eyes, 48 as if they were hidden pearls. 49 Then some of them will turn to others, and will ask each other. 50 One of them says, 'I had a comrade 51 “Who used to tell me, ‘Do you believe it is true?’ 52 Can we, when we are dead and have become mere dust and bones - can we (then) verily be brought to book? 53 He says, 'Are you looking down?' 54 And he will look and see him in the midst of the Hellfire. 55 He will say, "By Allah, you almost ruined me. 56 Had it not been for the grace of my Lord I too would have been there (in Hell). 57 Is it then that we are not going to die, 58 except for our first death, and are we not chastised? 59 This will indeed be great happiness. 60 and for the like of this let the workers work. 61 Is this better as a welcome, or the tree of Zaqqum? 62 We have appointed it as a trial for the evildoers. 63 Indeed it is a tree that sprouts from the base of hell. 64 its spathes are like the heads of satans 65 Truly they will eat thereof and fill their bellies therewith. 66 then in addition to it they shall have a draught of boiling water to drink; 67 Then indeed, their return will be to the Hellfire. 68 Surely they found their fathers going astray, 69 So in their footsteps they are being hastened on. 70 And there had already strayed before them most of the former peoples, 71 And verily We sent among them warners. 72 See how terrible was the end of those who were warned. 73 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 74

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
