3/4 Hizb 45

And indeed Nooh prayed to Us so what an excellent Acceptor of Prayer We are! 75 We saved him and his family from the great affliction, 76 and We made his offspring the only survivors. 77 And left (his name) for posterity. 78 Peace and salutation to Nuh among the nations. 79 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 80 Lo! he is one of Our believing slaves. 81 Then We drowned the others 82 ۞ AND, BEHOLD, of his persuasion was Abraham, too, 83 When he came to his Lord with a free heart, 84 when he said to his father and his folk, 'What do you serve? 85 Is it a calumny, gods apart from God, that you desire? 86 "Then what is your idea about the Lord of the worlds?" 87 Then he looked at the stars, looking up once, 88 And he said: "Verily, I am sick (with plague. He did this trick to remain in their temple of idols to destroy them and not to accompany them to the pagan's feast)." 89 So they went away from him, turning back. 90 He turned to their gods and said, "Do you not eat? 91 What is the matter with you that you do not speak?" 92 Then he turned upon them, striking (them) with (his) right hand. 93 So the disbelievers came running towards him. 94 "Why do you worship these you carve yourselves," he asked, 95 While Allah created you and that which you do?" 96 They said, "Build him a furnace, and throw him into the blazing fire!" 97 So they tried to execute their evil scheme upon him We therefore degraded them. (Allah saved him, by commanding the fire to turn cool). 98 He said: "I will go to my Lord! He will surely guide me! 99 “My Lord! Give me a meritorious child.” 100 So We gave him good tidings of a forbearing boy. 101 and when he had reached the age of running with him, he said, 'My son, I see in a dream that I shall sacrifice thee; consider, what thinkest thou?' He said, 'My father, do as thou art bidden; thou shalt find me, God willing, one of the steadfast.' 102 So when they both submitted and he threw him down upon his forehead, 103 And We called out to him: "O Abraham! 104 You have indeed shown the truth of the vision; surely thus do We reward the doers of good: 105 It was certainly an open trial. 106 We ransomed his son with a great sacrifice 107 and left him thus to be remembered among later generations: 108 Salamun (peace) be upon Ibrahim (Abraham)!" 109 Verily We! thus We compense the well-doers. 110 He was one of Our believing servants. 111 And we gave him tidings of the birth of Isaac, a prophet of the righteous. 112 And We blessed him, and Isaac; and of their seed some are good-doers, and some manifest self-wrongers. 113
