3/4 Hizb 45

Noah called to Us; and how excellent were the Answerers! 75 And We rescued him and his household from the great calamity. 76 And made his seed the survivors, 77 and left for him among the later folk 78 Peace on Noah among all men. 79 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 80 Surely he was of Our believing servants. 81 We drowned all the others (besides Noah and his people). 82 ۞ Of his party was also Abraham; 83 he came to his Lord with a sound heart. 84 and [thus] spoke to his father and his people: "What is it that you worship? 85 "Is it a falsehood aliha (gods) other than Allah that you seek? 86 What is then your idea about the Lord of the worlds? 87 Then he looked carefully at the stars 88 and said, "I am sick!" 89 so they turned their backs on him and went off. 90 Then he went quietly to the (temple of the deities) and said: “What is the matter with you, why do you not eat? 91 “What is the matter with you, that you do not say anything?” 92 Then he turned against them secretly, smiting them with the right hand. 93 Thereafter they (the people) came to him in haste. 94 "Why do you worship these you carve yourselves," he asked, 95 the while it is God who has created you and all your handiwork?" 96 They said, 'Build him a building, and cast him into the furnace!' 97 They had contrived an evil plan against him, but We abased them all. 98 And he said (after his rescue from the fire): "Verily, I am going to my Lord. He will guide me!" 99 My Lord! Bestow on me a son who will be of the righteous. 100 We therefore gave him the glad tidings of an intelligent son. 101 And when he attained the age of running with him, he said: O my son! verily I have seen in a dream that I am slaughtering thee; so look, what considerest thou? He said: O my father! do that which thou art commanded; thou shalt find me, Allah willing, of the patients. 102 Then (remember) when they both submitted to Allah’s command, and Ibrahim lay his son facing downwards. (The knife did not hurt Ismail) 103 We called unto him: O Abraham! 104 you have indeed fulfilled your dream. Thus do We reward the good-doers.” 105 Indeed this was a clear test. 106 And We ransomed him with a momentous sacrifice: 107 and left for him among the later folk 108 Peace be on Abraham. 109 Verily We! thus We compense the well-doers. 110 Verily he was one of Our believing bondmen. 111 And We gave him the glad tidings of Is-haq, a prophet, and of the righteous. 112 and We blessed him and Isaac: but among the offspring of these two there were [destined] to be both doers of good and such as would glaringly sin against themselves. 113
