Al-Saaffaat 3 of 5
And assuredly Nuh cried unto us; and We are the Best of answerers! 75 We delivered him and his household from the great calamity; 76 and We made his offspring the only survivors. 77 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 78 Peace be upon Nooh, among the entire people. 79 This is how We reward the virtuous. 80 he was truly one of Our faithful servants. 81 Then We did drown the others. 82 ۞ And indeed Ibrahim is from his (Nooh’s) group. 83 Behold! he approached his Lord with a sound heart. 84 When he said to his father and his people: What is it that you worship? 85 Is it a falsehood - gods beside Allah - that ye desire? 86 “So what do you assume regarding the Lord Of The Creation?” (That He will not punish you?) 87 Then he glanced a glance on the stars. 88 And he said, "I am indeed sick (at heart)!" 89 so they turned their backs on him and went off. 90 Then he turned to their gods, and said: 'What do you eat? 91 Why do you not speak?" 92 And he turned upon them striking them with the right hand. 93 And (his people) came toward him, hastening. 94 He said: "Worship ye that which ye have (yourselves) carved? 95 when it is God who has created you and all your handiwork?" 96 They said, "Construct for him a furnace and throw him into the burning fire." 97 They desired to outwit him; so We made them the lower ones. 98 And he said: Surely I fly to my lord; He will guide me. 99 My Lord, give me one of the righteous.' 100 So We gave him the good news of a clement son. 101 And [one day,] when [the child] had become old enough to share in his [father's] endeavours, the latter said: "O my dear son! I have seen in a dream that I should sacrifice thee: consider, then, what would be thy view!" [Ishmael] answered: "O my father! Do as thou art bidden: thou wilt find me, if God so wills, among those who are patient in adversity!" 102 Then when the twain had submitted themselves and he had prostrated him upon his temple. 103 We called out to him, "Abraham, 104 You have fulfilled the vision." Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 105 That was indeed a clear trial. 106 And We ransomed him with a momentous sacrifice: 107 and left for him among the later folk 108 Peace be with Abraham. 109 That is how We reward those who do good. 110 Lo! he is one of Our believing slaves. 111 And We gave him the glad tidings of Is-haq, a prophet, and of the righteous. 112 We had blessed him and Isaac. Some of their offspring were righteous and others were openly unjust to themselves. 113

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
