3/4 Hizb 45

Noah cried to Us, and how excellent was Our response! 75 And We saved him and his family from the great affliction. 76 And We made his offspring the survivors. 77 and We established for him a good name among posterity. 78 "Peace be upon Noah throughout all the worlds!" 79 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 80 Surely he was among Our faithful creatures. 81 Then We drowned the others. 82 ۞ And indeed Ibrahim is from his (Nooh’s) group. 83 When he came to his Lord with a pure heart, 84 and asked his father and his people, "What is that you worship? 85 Is it a falsehood - gods beside Allah - that ye desire? 86 What is then your idea about the Lord of the worlds? 87 The people invited him to attend their feast). Then he looked at the stars 88 And said, "Indeed, I am [about to be] ill." 89 So they departed from him turning their backs. 90 Thereupon he approached their gods stealthily and said, "What! You do not eat [of the offerings placed before you]? 91 “What is the matter with you, that you do not say anything?” 92 And he turned upon them striking them with the right hand. 93 His people came rushing towards him, 94 Abraham said to them: “Do you worship what you yourselves have carved with your own hands 95 "While Allah has created you and what you make!" 96 They exclaimed: "Build a pyre for him, and cast him into the blazing fire!" 97 So they plotted a plot against him, but We made them the lowest. 98 Abraham said: “I am going to my Lord; He will guide me. 99 “My Lord! Give me a meritorious child.” 100 So We gave him tidings of a gentle son. 101 And when he attained to working with him, he said: O my son! surely I have seen in a dream that I should sacrifice you; consider then what you see. He said: O my father! do what you are commanded; if Allah please, you will find me of the patient ones. 102 When they had surrendered, and he flung him upon his brow, 103 We called out to him, "Abraham, 104 You have fulfilled the vision." Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 105 It was certainly an open trial. 106 And We ransomed him with a mighty sacrifice, 107 and We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 108 "Peace upon Abraham." 109 Thus do We reward the doers of good 110 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 111 And We gave him the glad tidings of Ishaque (Isaac) a Prophet from the righteous. 112 We had blessed him and Isaac. Some of their offspring were righteous and others were openly unjust to themselves. 113
