We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
