And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
