And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
