And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
