We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
