It is God who has created ears, eyes, and hearts for you. Little are the thanks that you give. 78 And it is He Who has created you on the earth, and to Him you shall be gathered back. 79 And it is He Who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 Nay, but they say the like of what their predecessors of yore had said. 81 They say: "When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, shall we be raised to life again? 82 "Such things have been promised to us and to our fathers before! they are nothing but tales of the ancients!" 83 Say: "To whom does the earth and whosoever is upon it then belong, if you know?" 84 They will say, God's.' Say: 'Will you not then remember?' 85 Say: Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the mighty dominion? 86 They will say, "They belong to God." Say, "So do you not fear Him?" 87 Say: "In whose hand rests the mighty dominion over all things, and who is it that protects, the while there is no protection against Him? [Tell me this] if you happen to know [the answer]!" 88 They will say: "(All that belongs) to Allah." Say: "How then are you deceived and turn away from the truth?" 89 We have sent them the Truth: but they indeed practise falsehood! 90 Allah hath not chosen any son, nor is there any god along with Him; else would each god have assuredly championed that which he created, and some of them would assuredly have overcome others. Glorified be Allah above all that they allege. 91 knowing all that is beyond the reach of a created being's perception as well as all that can be witnessed by a creature's senses or mind and hence, sublimely exalted is He above anything to which they may ascribe a share in His divinity! 92
