We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
