Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
