We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
