And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
