We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 and at night. Do you still not understand? 138
