Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
