We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And showed them the right path. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
