We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
