Hizb 46
< random >
Jonah, too, was one of the Messengers. 139 Call to mind when he fled to the laden ship, 140 And then they cast lots, and he was the one who lost; 141 Then the fish swallowed him, while he was blameworthy. 142 And were he not one of those who praise. 143 He would certainly have tarried in its belly to the day when they are raised. 144 ۞ We cast him out of the fish unto dry land and he was sick. 145 And We caused to grow up for him a gourdplant. 146 And We sent him to a hundred thousand, rather they exceeded. 147 They believed in him so We granted them enjoyment for an appointed time. 148 So ask them for a pronouncement -- Has thy Lord daughters, and they sons? 149 Or created We the angels females while they were present? 150 Is it not a lie invented by them when they say: 151 God hath begotten. Verily they are the liars. 152 Hath He chosen daughters above sons? 153 Woe to you! How terrible is your Judgment. 154 What, will you not remember? 155 Or, is there for you a clear warranty 156 Then bring your scripture, if what you say is true. 157 And they imagine kinship between him and the jinn, whereas the jinn know well that they will be brought before (Him). 158 Glory to Allah! (He is free) from the things they ascribe (to Him)! 159 Except His chosen creatures who do not. 160 You and whatever you worship 161 can cause anyone to fall prey to your temptation 162 Except he who is to [enter and] burn in the Hellfire. 163 As for us, there is none but has an appointed station. 164 We stand in ranks (for prayer) 165 "And we are verily those who declare (Allah's) glory!" 166 And they surely were wont to say: 167 "If only we had a tradition [to this effect] from our forebears, 168 then were we God's sincere servants.' 169 But (now that the Qur'an has come), they reject it: But soon will they know! 170 We decreed that Our Messenger servants 171 [That] indeed, they would be those given victory 172 And that Our forces,- they surely must conquer. 173 So, [O Muhammad], leave them for a time. 174 And (then) see them, so they too shall see. 175 Our torment seek they to hasten on! 176 But when it cometh home to them, then it will be a hapless morn for those who have been warned. 177 So turn thou away from them for a little while, 178 And wait, for they will soon see. 179 Glory be to your Lord, the Lord of Honor, above what they describe. 180 Peace be on the Messengers. 181 And all praise to God, the Lord of all the worlds. 182
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
Read the entire Holy Quran in full color. Pages diversely generate their colors and shapes so that the same scheme never repeats twice. The Quran is the conclusive Final Testament of the One and Only God for all people of all colors and shapes.
