Hizb 46
< random >
And verily Yunus was of the sent ones. 139 Call to mind when he fled to the laden ship, 140 Then lots were drawn and he became of those who were pushed into the sea. 141 and the fish swallowed him while he was blaming himself. 142 Now had he not been of those that glorify God, 143 He would certainly have remained inside the Fish till the Day of Resurrection. 144 ۞ but We cast him upon the wilderness, and he was sick, 145 and caused a creeping plant to grow over him [out of the barren soil]. 146 And We sent him (on a mission) to a hundred thousand (men) or more. 147 So they accepted faith We therefore gave them usage for a while. 148 Now ask them whether your Lord has daughters, whereas they have sons. 149 Or that We created the angels female, and they are witnesses (thereto)? 150 Lo! verily it is of their falsehood that they say: 151 'God has begotten a son.' They are certainly liars. 152 Has He chosen daughters in preference to sons? 153 What is the matter with you? How do you judge? 154 Do you not understand? 155 Or have you a clear authority? 156 Bring your Book, if you speak truly! 157 They link Him with jinns by lineage, yet the jinns know they will be brought before Him. 158 Glorified be Allah from that which they attribute (unto Him), 159 Not thus, however, [behave] God's true servants: 160 for, verily, neither you [blasphemers] nor the objects of your worship 161 cannot mislead anyone 162 Except one who is (destined) to burn in Hell. 163 None of us is there, but has a known station; 164 We are surely those who are arranged in ranks. 165 We glorify God." 166 And surely they used to say: 167 "If we had a reminder as had the men of old (before the coming of Prophet Muhammad SAW as a Messenger of Allah). 168 Surely we would have been the bondmen of God sincere. 169 but they have rejected it, [the Quran] and they shall soon learn! 170 Already Our Word has preceded to Our servants, the Envoys; 171 that, verily, they - they indeed - would be succoured, 172 And surely, only Our army will be victorious. 173 So turn (away) from them for a while. 174 Watch them: they will soon see. 175 Do they seek to hasten on Our Torment? 176 When it lights in their courtyard, how evil will be the morning of them that are warned! 177 So turn away from them for a while. 178 And see thou: they themselves shall presently see. 179 LIMITLESS in His glory is thy Sustainer, the Lord of almightiness, [exalted] above anything that men may devise by way of definition! 180 So peace be on the messengers, 181 And Praise to Allah, the Lord and Cherisher of the Worlds. 182
God the Almighty always says the truth.
