Hizb 46

Jonah too was one of the messengers. 139 He ran away to the laden ship, 140 and sailed away in a laden ship, wherein people cast lots. Because he lost, he was thrown into the water. 141 The fish then swallowed him and he blamed himself. (For not waiting for Allah’s command.) 142 And had he not been one of those who glorify (Allah) 143 He would have tarried in the belly thereof till the Day when they are raised. 144 ۞ But We threw him onto the open shore while he was ill. 145 and We caused to grow over him a tree of gourds. 146 and We sent him forth to a nation of a hundred thousand or more, 147 They believed in him so We granted them enjoyment for an appointed time. 148 So ask them for a pronouncement -- Has thy Lord daughters, and they sons? 149 Have We created the angels as females before their very eyes? 150 Behold, it is one of their fabrications that they say: 151 'Allah has begotten' They are truly liars. 152 "He has chosen daughters in preference to sons"! 153 What aileth you? How judge ye? 154 Will you then not take heed? 155 Or have ye an authority manifest? 156 Bring your Book, if you are truthful. 157 And they imagine kinship between him and the jinn, whereas the jinn know well that they will be brought before (Him). 158 Glory be to Allah (for freedom) from what they describe; 159 Except the slaves of Allah, whom He choses (for His Mercy i.e. true believers of Islamic Monotheism who do not attribute false things unto Allah). 160 But as for you, and that you serve, 161 cannot mislead anyone 162 Except one who is (destined) to burn in Hell. 163 And the angels say, “Each one of us has an appointed known position.” 164 And indeed, we are those who line up [for prayer]. 165 and, verily, we too extol His limitless glory!" 166 They used to say before: 167 “If only we had the Reminder which had been granted to the people of yore 168 We would have been the chosen servants of Allah." 169 but they have rejected it, [the Quran] and they shall soon learn! 170 We have already given Our promise to Our Messengers 171 that they shall receive Our help 172 And surely, only Our army will be victorious. 173 So turn away (O Muhammad SAW) from them for a while, 174 And (then) see them, so they too shall see. 175 Our torment seek they to hasten on! 176 So when it does descend in their courtyards so what an evil morning it will be for those who were warned! 177 And turn away from them till a time 178 And watch, for they will (soon) see. 179 Glorified be thy Lord, the Lord of Majesty, from that which they attribute (unto Him) 180 Peace be upon the Messengers 181 And all the praise and thanks be to Allah, Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 182
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
