Hizb 46
< random >
And indeed Yunus is one of the Noble Messengers. 139 when he fled like a runaway slave onto a laden ship. 140 He (agreed to) cast lots, and he was among the losers, 141 then the whale swallowed him down, and he blameworthy. 142 And had he not been of those who [even in the deep darkness of their distress are able to] extol God's limitless glory, 143 he would have lingered in its belly till the Day they are resurrected. 144 ۞ Then We cast him on a desert shore while he was sick; 145 And We caused a plant of gourd to grow over him. 146 And We sent him to a hundred thousand (folk) or more 147 and [this time] they believed [in him] and so We allowed them to enjoy their life during the time allotted to them? 148 Therefore ask them (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him), whether the daughters are for your Lord and the sons for them! 149 Or did We create the angels females while they were witnesses? 150 Then is it of their lying that they say: 151 'God has begotten?' They are truly liars. 152 Has He chosen daughters over sons? 153 What is the matter with you, how is it that you judge? 154 What, will you not remember? 155 Do you have any clear authority for such claims? 156 Then bring your scripture, if what you say is true. 157 And they have claimed between Him and the jinn a lineage, but the jinn have already known that they [who made such claims] will be brought to [punishment]. 158 Glorified is Allah! (He is Free) from what they attribute unto Him! 159 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 160 So, verily you (pagans) and those whom you worship (idols). 161 can cause anyone to fall prey to your temptation 162 Except he who is to [enter and] burn in the Hellfire. 163 "There is not one of us who does not have his appointed place," (declare the angels.) 164 We stand in ranks (for prayer) 165 "And we are verily those who declare (Allah's) glory!" 166 And there were those who said, 167 "If we had a reminder as had the men of old (before the coming of Prophet Muhammad SAW as a Messenger of Allah). 168 "We would have indeed been the chosen slaves of Allah (true believers of Islamic Monotheism)!" 169 But they disbelieve in it (the Koran), but soon they shall know! 170 And certainly Our word has already gone forth in respect of Our servants, the apostles: 171 That undoubtedly, only they will be helped. 172 And that Our hosts, they verily would be the victors. 173 So turn thou from them for a while, 174 And see [what will befall] them, for they are going to see. 175 What, do they seek to hasten Our chastisement? 176 So when it does descend in their courtyards so what an evil morning it will be for those who were warned! 177 Stay away from them for a while 178 And see thou: they themselves shall presently see. 179 Glory be to your Lord: the Lord of Glory is far above what they attribute to Him. 180 And peace be unto those sent (to warn). 181 And Praise to Allah, the Lord and Cherisher of the Worlds. 182
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)

Notes and Instructions
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
