Hizb 46

Jonah, too, was one of the Messengers. 139 When he left towards the laden ship. 140 and cast lots, and he was among the losers (of the lots that were cast). 141 So the whale swallowed him, for he was blameworthy, 142 and had he not been among those who exalt (Allah), 143 he would indeed have remained in its belly till the Day when all shall be raised from the dead: 144 ۞ We then put him ashore on a plain, and he was sick. 145 And We caused to grow over him a tree, a gourd. 146 We sent him to a hundred thousand men or more, 147 And they believed, whrefore We let them enjoy life for a season. 148 Therefore ask them (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him), whether the daughters are for your Lord and the sons for them! 149 Or, did We create the angels females while they were witnessing? 150 Lo! it is of their falsehood that they say: 151 Allah has begotten; and most surely they are liars. 152 Has He chosen daughters over sons? 153 What is the matter with you? How do you form your judgement? 154 What, and will you not remember? 155 Do you have clear authority? 156 Then bring your scripture, if what you say is true. 157 They claim that He has kinship with the jinn, yet the jinn themselves know that they will be produced before Him [for judgement]. 158 God is too glorious for what they ascribe to Him 159 Except the chosen servants of Allah [who do not share in that sin]. 160 So, verily you (pagans) and those whom you worship (idols). 161 you shall not tempt any against Him 162 Except one who is (destined) to burn in Hell. 163 [All forces of nature praise God and say:] "Among us, too, there is none but has a place assigned to it [by Him]; 164 We are surely those who are arranged in ranks. 165 Verily, we (angels), we are they who glorify (Allah's Praises i.e. perform prayers). 166 And indeed, the disbelievers used to say, 167 "If only we had had before us a Message from those of old, 168 we would certainly be true servants of God." 169 But when it came to them, they rejected it. They shall soon come to know (the end of such an attitude). 170 And Our word has already preceded for Our servants, the messengers, 171 That they would be helped, 172 And surely, only Our army will be victorious. 173 Therefore turn away from them for some time. 174 And watch them, for they will soon see. 175 What! would they then hasten on Our chastisement? 176 Then, when it descends into their courtyard (i.e. near to them), evil will be the morning for those who had been warned! 177 Leave them alone for a while, 178 and see; and they too shall soon see. 179 Exalted be your Lord, the Lord of Glory, above what they attribute to Him, 180 Peace be upon the Messengers 181 And praise belongs to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. 182
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
