(Muhammad) say, "I am only a warner. The only Lord is God, the Almighty. 65 “Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them the Almighty, the Oft Forgiving.” 66 Say: “This is a tiding of tremendous import 67 [how can] you turn away from it?" 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted assembly [of angels] when they were disputing [the creation of Adam]. 69 Naught is revealed unto me except that I am a warner manifest. 70 Recall what time thy Lord said unto the angels: verily I am about to create a human being from clay; 71 and when I give it proper shape and blow My spirit into it, bow down in prostration to him," 72 Then the angels bowed before him in a body, 73 save Iblis: he gloried in his arrogance, and [thus] became one of those who deny the truth. 74 Said He: "O Iblis! What has kept thee from prostrating thyself before that [being] which I have created with My hands? Art thou too proud [to bow down before another created being,] or art thou of those who think [only] of themselves as high?" 75 He said: I am better than he: me Thou hast created of fire, and him Thou hast created of clay. 76 He said: “Get out of here; surely you are accursed, 77 And indeed, upon you is My curse until the Day of Recompense." 78 He said: My Lord! Reprieve me till the day when they are raised. 79 He said: Surely you are of the respited ones, 80 Until the Day of the time well-known." 81 He said: Then by Thy Might I will surely make them live an evil life, all, 82 except for those among them who are Your chosen servants." 83 God said, "This is the truth, I speak only the truth, 84 I will fill up Hell with you and every one of them who follows you." 85 Say thou: I ask of you for it no hire, nor am I of the affecters. 86 It is but a reminder to the worlds. 87 And you will surely know [the truth of] its information after a time." 88
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
