Say: I am only a warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer (of all): 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, all-mighty, all-forgiving." 66 Say thou: it is a tiding mighty. 67 To which you pay no heed. 68 I had no knowledge of the Exalted Assembly when they argued [against the creation of man]: 69 Naught is revealed to me save that I am a plain warner. 70 When your Lord said to the angels: "I am going to create a man from clay; 71 And when I have fashioned him and breathed into him of My Spirit, then fall down before him prostrate, 72 Then the angels, all of them, prostrated themselves before Adam 73 except Iblis who puffed himself up with pride and became a disbeliever. 74 Said (God): "O Iblis, what hindered you from adoring what I created by My own authority? Are you too proud, or too high and mighty?" 75 He (satan) replied: 'I am better than he. You created me from fire, and You created him from clay' 76 Said He, 'Then go thou forth hence; thou art accursed. 77 And verily My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Requital, 78 He said, “My Lord! Therefore give me respite till the day when all will be raised.” 79 He (Allah) said: 'You are among those that are respited 80 until the day of the known time.' 81 He said, “Therefore, by oath of Your honour, I will surely mislead all of them.” 82 Except, among them, Your chosen servants." 83 (Allah) said: "The Truth is, and the Truth I say, 84 That I will most certainly fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all. 85 Say: 'I ask of you no wage for it, neither am I of those who take things upon themselves. 86 Lo! it is naught else than a reminder for all peoples 87 and after a while you shall know its news' 88
