Say, [O Muhammad], "I am only a warner, and there is not any deity except Allah, the One, the Prevailing. 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver." 66 Say, “That is a great tidings.” 67 To which you pay no heed. 68 I had no knowledge of the higher Assembly when they discussed it among themselves. 69 Naught is revealed unto me except that I am a warner manifest. 70 When your Lord said to the angels: 'I am creating a human from clay, 71 When I have shaped him, and breathed My spirit in him, fall you down, bowing before him!' 72 The angels prostrated themselves, all of them. 73 Except Iblis (Satan) he was proud and was one of the disbelievers. 74 The Lord said: “O Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself before him whom I created of My Two Hands. Are you waxing proud, or fancy yourself to be too exalted?” 75 Said Iblis, “I am better than him; You made me from fire, and You have created him from clay!” 76 'Begone' said He, 'you are stoned'. 77 Upon you will be My damnation till the Day of Doom." 78 He said, "Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection". 79 He said: Surely you are of the respited ones, 80 "Till the Day of the Time Appointed." 81 He said: by Thy majesty, then, I shall surely seduce them, all. 82 “Except Your chosen bondmen among them.” 83 God said, "This is the truth, I speak only the truth, 84 “That I will fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all together.” 85 Say: I do not ask you for any reward for it; nor am I of those who affect: 86 It is but a reminder to the worlds. 87 "And ye shall certainly know the truth of it (all) after a while." 88
