Say: "Truly am I a Warner: no god is there but the one Allah, Supreme and Irresistible,- 65 “Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them – the Almighty, the Oft Forgiving.” 66 Say, “That is a great tidings.” 67 from which you turn away. 68 I had no knowledge of the higher Assembly when they discussed it among themselves. 69 Naught is revealed unto me except that I am a warner manifest. 70 (Remember) When your Lord said to the angels, “I will create a human from clay.” – 71 and when I have formed him fully and breathed into him of My spirit, fall you down before him in prostration!" 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together: 73 except Iblis who puffed himself up with pride and became a disbeliever. 74 The Lord said: “O Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself before him whom I created of My Two Hands. Are you waxing proud, or fancy yourself to be too exalted?” 75 He said: "I am better than he. You created me from fire, and him from clay." 76 He said: “Get out of here; surely you are accursed, 77 "And My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Judgment." 78 He said, “My Lord! Therefore give me respite till the day when all will be raised.” 79 He (Allah) said: 'You are among those that are respited 80 Until the Day of the time well-known." 81 He said, "By Your Honour, I will lead all of them astray, 82 except those of Your servants, the chosen ones from amongst them.” 83 He (i.e. Allah) said: “This is the Truth -- and I only speak the Truth -- 84 Most certainly will I fill hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together!" 85 Say: "No reward do I ask of you for this (Qur'an), nor am I a pretender. 86 It is but a reminder to the worlds. 87 You will certainly know its truthfulness after a certain time. 88
