Say: "Truly am I a Warner: no god is there but the one Allah, Supreme and Irresistible,- 65 He is the Lord of the heavens, the earth, and all that is between them, the Majestic and All-forgiving". 66 Say: "This is a momentous message, 67 "From which you turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted chiefs when they contended: 69 Naught is revealed to me save that I am a plain warner. 70 When your Lord said to the angels: 'I am creating a human from clay, 71 So when I have made him complete and breathed into him of My spirit, then fall down making obeisance to him. 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together: 73 but not Satan, who was too proud. He became one of those who deny the truth. 74 Said He, 'Iblis, what prevented thee to bow thyself before that I created with My own hands? Hast thou waxed proud, or art thou of the lofty ones?' 75 He said: I am better than he: me Thou hast created of fire, and him Thou hast created of clay. 76 (God) said: "Then go hence, ostracised. 77 And indeed, upon you is My curse until the Day of Recompense." 78 He said, "Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection". 79 so He said, "You are granted respite 80 until the day of the known time.' 81 He said: Then, by Thy might, I surely will beguile them every one, 82 “Except Your chosen bondmen among them.” 83 He said: The Truth is, and the Truth I speak, 84 I will fill up Hell with you and every one of them who follows you." 85 Say: 'I ask of you no wage for it, neither am I of those who take things upon themselves. 86 this is simply an admonition to mankind, 87 And most certainly you will come to know about it after a time. 88
