Say (unto them, O Muhammad): I am only a warner, and there is no Allah save Allah, the One, the Absolute, 65 "The Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all between,- Exalted in Might, able to enforce His Will, forgiving again and again." 66 Say, "It (facts about the supremacy of God) is the greatest message, 67 yet you ignore it. 68 (Tell them): “I had no knowledge of the High Council when they were disputing. 69 I have only received revelation to give you plain warning. 70 [So mention] when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I am going to create a human being from clay. 71 So when I have fashioned him and breathed into him (his) soul created by Me, then you fall down prostrate to him." 72 Then the angels bowed themselves all together, 73 Except Iblis. He was filled with pride and turned an unbeliever. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis! What prevents thee from prostrating thyself to one whom I have created with my hands? Art thou haughty? Or art thou one of the high (and mighty) ones?" 75 Said he, 'I am better than he; Thou createdst me of fire, and him Thou createdst of clay.' 76 (God) said: "Then go hence, ostracised. 77 Upon you will be My damnation till the Day of Doom." 78 He said: my Lord! respite me till the Day whereon they are raised up. 79 [Allah] said, "So indeed, you are of those reprieved 80 Until the Day of the time well-known." 81 (Iblis) said: "Then, by Thy power, I will put them all in the wrong, 82 excepting those Thy servants among them that are sincere.' 83 God said, "This is the truth, I speak only the truth, 84 [That] I will surely fill Hell with you and those of them that follow you all together." 85 Say: I do not ask you for any reward for it; nor am I of those who affect: 86 It is naught but an admonition unto the worlds. 87 you shall before long know its truth." 88
